10 separate forest fires in Denizli
The Governorate of Denizli announced that 10 separate forest fires broke out in 6 different districts today, 6 of which were caused by lightning strikes.

In a statement issued by the Denizli Governorate, it was stated: “Today at noon, forest fires broke out in the forest areas of the Mollaahmet, Yeniköy and Kelleci neighborhoods of the Babadağ district, the Nikfer neighborhood of the Tavas district, the Köprübaşı area of the Kale district, and the Cankurtaran neighborhood of the Pamukkale district due to lightning strikes, as well as in the Akkent neighborhood of Çal, the Kelekçi neighborhood of Acıpayam, the Kocadere neighborhood of Honaz and the Kınıklı neighborhood of Pamukkale.”
The forest fire in the Pamukkale – Cankurtaran neighborhood has been brought under control and cooling efforts are ongoing.
